Samburu Traditional Wedding

Early in June, we beat the long & dusty road to Maralal town in Samburu County to a beautiful traditional ceremony. It was my first time in Maralal and nothing could have prepared me for that long & bumpy ride.

Ideally, a Samburu traditional wedding would be a three day event. Due to the many pictures captured on all three days, i will not be able to tell the story in one post. I will break it down to three parts. Part one happened on the second day of the event. It was entirely a Portraits session. Part two & three will capture the cultural aspect of the event.
